Eric Kaesermann, Principal

Mr. Eric Kaesermann graduated from Martin Luther College in 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentrate in Social Studies. He has teaches a variety of classes in grades 3-8. He has been the principal of St. Paul's School since 2008. Eric also holds the duties of athletic director and coach.
 

His interests include spending time with his family, outdoor activities, fishing, reading, and history. He enjoys teaching at St. Paul's School where kids can learn life lessons along with living a life of service for their Lord Jesus.

Judy Petzel

Mrs. Judy Petzel is the teacher of our Pre-Kindergarten program. She is the Kindergarten teacher in the mornings and also teaches fifth grade English/Spelling and first grade Reading.

Judy graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.  After graduation,she taught grades 1-2 for seven years, started the Pre-K program in 1991, and has also been the remedial teacher.
 

Her interests include attending her children's sports activities, baking her "Judy Cookies", and reading.  Her joy of teaching comes from helping young children blossom as they grow in God's love at St. Paul's Lutheran School.

Lesley Kaesermann

Mrs. Lesley Kaesermann currently teaches kindergarten, first, and second grade. She has been teaching at St. Paul's Lutheran School for 10 years in the primary grades.

Lesley graduated from Martin Luther College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in education.
 

Her interests include spending time with family, baking, playing the piano, and reading.

She enjoys being in a Christian school where the good news of our salvation through Jesus is taught every day.

  Pastor Rauh
 

Rev. Matthew C. Rauh accepted the call to serve as Pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in 2016. He also serves as our 7-8th grade religion instructor.  Prior to joining St. Paul's, Pastor Rauh served as Associate Pastor at St. Peter Lutheran Church in St. Peter, MN since 1995.  He also served as Pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in Denver, CO for 4 years, and as a teacher at Michigan Lutheran High School in Saint Joseph, MI.

His interests include his studies, reading, history, games, and spending time with his family.

Becky Ziegler

Mrs. Becky Ziegler teaches several classes for the 3rd - 8th grades, including math, science, and reading.  Becky grew up outside Arlington and attended St. Paul’s Lutheran school from kindergarten through eighth grade.  She graduated from St. Cloud State with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.  

Becky enjoys flower gardening, baking, reading, and doing things with family.  

She also enjoys being able to point out how Jesus is in everything throughout all of her classes.

  Kari Schmidt

Mrs. Kari Schmidt is the RTI Specialist and Para for St Paul’s school.  Kari grew up in Norwood-Young America and attended Ridgewater College.  She moved to Arlington when she married her husband Rickey in 2004.  She worked many years in other preschool programs.

Her interests include camping, attending her kid’s sports activities, and spending time with her family.
