First Train Leaves at 11:00am!

Bethlehem Express is a our largest community event of the year.  As part of the Arli-Dazzle festivities held in December each year, St. Paul's Lutheran Church is transformed into a train depot where the Bethlehem Express takes passengers on an imaginary journey to Bethlehem.

When visitors arrive at the church they enter the train depot and receive a free ticket to board the "train." A conductor then guides groups of "passengers" from stop to stop throughout the church.  First stop is Carol City, where passengers enjoy listening to Christmas carols sung by St. Paul's choir.  The next stop is Craftytown.  Here riders spend some time making a craft to take home with them.  Next we head to Munchiland, where passengers enjoy a tasty treat and refreshments.  And finally, the train reaches its destination: Bethlehem.  At this stop visitors view a short video about the birth of Jesus - the real meaning of Christmas.

We welcome new passengers as well as those who are returning from previous years.  Over 1,000 passengers have taken the Bethlehem Express!  We hope you join us for this memorable experience.
